Giving
Financial giving at Valley View Christian Church can generally be divided into two categories: tithes and offerings. The Bible teaches us that we worship the Lord with our tithe, which is ten percent of our income contributed to the church on a regular basis. When we feel called to give over and above our tithe, we do so as an offering.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does the church pay processing fees when I give online?
Yes. Some fees are higher than others. If you give straight from your checking account by entering your routing and account numbers, there is a small 30¢ fee per transaction. If you give via Apple Pay or debit/credit card, a 2.8% transaction fee is charged. These fees are taken out of the total donation you are giving to the church, not additional to your donation. However, when you give, you will be given the option to cover the fee.
Are my donations to Valley View Christian Church tax-deductible?
Yes. Valley View is registered as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. You will receive your yearly giving statement by email (if we have a valid email address for you in our database) or postal mail by the end of January. Call the church office at 972-245-8822 to update your contact information or ask further questions about your giving statement.
As always, consult with your tax advisor to determine whether your donation is tax deductible in whole or in part. Nothing in this communication is intended to constitute legal or tax advice.
What does my gift go towards?
Your gift enters the general giving fund which supports local and global missions, the church building and churchwide programming. If you would like to know the current budget breakdown, you are welcome to ask an elder in The Next Room one Sunday morning after service.
