Valley View Students

At Valley View, our NextGen Mission is simple but powerful: to raise up the next generation as followers of Jesus. Everything we do in Valley View Students flows out of this purpose. We want middle and high school students to know Jesus personally, grow in their faith, and discover how to live it out in everyday life.

Valley View Students offers intentional programming designed to help students build friendships, grow spiritually, and have fun in a safe and welcoming community. Below you’ll find our main environments and gatherings for students in Middle School and High School.

On Sundays during the 10:30 worship service, our students often sit together in a section near the front—worshiping, learning, and being part of the larger church family.

Student Studies

On Sunday mornings from 9:00–10:00 AM, students are invited to take part in Student Studies—a space designed to help them dig deeper into God’s Word. Here they open Scripture, ask honest questions, and grow in their understanding of what it means to be followers of Jesus who daily love God and the people in their community and world. This time equips students with a strong foundation for their faith so they can live free in Christ and be ready to lead others.

Groups

On Sunday nights during the school year, Valley View Students gathers from 6:00–8:00 PM for Groups. This is where relationships grow deeper and faith becomes personal. Students come together for worship, lifting their voices and hearts as they grow in love for God and one another. In age- and gender-specific groups, they meet with trusted adult leaders who invest in their lives, revisiting the morning’s teaching and talking about what it looks like to live it out every day. These groups are about more than conversation—they’re about forming lasting relationships with both peers and leaders who walk alongside them in their faith journey.

Each second Sunday of the month shifts into a fun, connection-focused event with no agenda but building friendships—because following Jesus also means enjoying life together as we Love Dallas, Live Free, and Lead Others.

Summer Camp

Summer Camp is the biggest week of the year for our students. It’s a chance to step away from distractions and experience a true “mountaintop” moment with God. Surrounded by friends and leaders, students see what life can be like when we fully focus on following Jesus and living out our mission to daily love God and the people in our community and world. To make camp possible for every student, Valley View provides fundraising opportunities and scholarships—because no one should miss the chance to encounter God, grow in freedom, and be inspired to lead others.
