At Valley View, we want to be followers of Jesus who daily love God and the people in our community and world. That means we want to help you take meaningful steps in your faith by creating spaces to gather, grow, give, serve, and pray. Whether you’re looking for community, opportunities to learn, or ways to make a difference, there are plenty of ways to get connected. Join a Group!

Groups are the best ways to grow in your faith and build meaningful relationships at Valley View. Whether you’re looking for Bible study, encouragement, or simply people to walk alongside you, there’s a place for you here.

Some options include:

• Study Groups are designed to help you Learn Truth through focused teaching and Scripture study. While connection happens naturally, the primary purpose is biblical teaching and growth.

  Examples include Grow and Equip classes, PrimeTimers (60+), and Tuesday Morning Women’s Bible Study.

• Small Groups focus on building community, caring for one another, and discussing Scripture together. Many are short-term with a clear start and end date, while Life Groups are ongoing.

  Examples include Men’s and Women’s Small Groups, Rooted (a 10-week discipleship experience), and Life Groups.

• Support Groups help people Live Free by providing Christ-centered care, encouragement, and practical tools during difficult seasons.

  Examples include GriefShare and Trauma Care Groups.

Serve on a Team

Serving is one of the best ways to live out your faith and make a difference in the lives of others. God has given each of us unique gifts, and when we use them together, the church thrives. Take a look below and find a place where you can step in and serve.

Teams you can be part of include:

• Worship Team – Use your musical or creative gifts to lead others in worship on Sundays.

• Tech Team – Serve behind the scenes with audio, video, and production to help create meaningful worship experiences.

• Care Team – Pray for, encourage, and support our church family through cards, visits, and practical care.

• NextGen Team – Invest in the next generation by serving with kids or students and pointing them toward Jesus.
